In order to perform music using an instrument, it is necessary to learn the movements that make it sound. I teach everyone, regardless of age or skill level. I draw on the tradition of great violinists, which was passed on to me by Prof. Bohumil Kotmel Sr. (David Oistrach, Nathan Milstein, Viktor Pikajzen) and Jind\u0159ich Pazdera (Leonid Kogan) personally, and which I have supplemented with my own research and observations (Jasha Heifetz, Gidon Kremer, Anne Sophie Mutter, Hilary Hahn, Itzhak Perlman, Rinaldo Ol\u00e1h). My methodology has been influenced by Kat\u00f3 Havas, Ivan Galamian, Jaroslav Folt\u00fdn, Eva Bublov\u00e1, and Alexander Shonert. I focus primarily on the functions of the hands and their possible rehabilitation, awakening musical and sound inventiveness, intonation and rhythmic precision. I do not prescribe how anyone should do it, I show the way, I do not force anyone to follow it. The principles of good violin playing can be applied to all other string instruments, and many of them to musical instruments in general. To paraphrase the painter Salvador Dal\u00ed \u2013 first learn to play like the old masters, then do as you please \u2013 you will always be respected.<\/p>\n
