{"id":7,"date":"2018-07-05T16:28:12","date_gmt":"2018-07-05T14:28:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.polivka.webisti.cz\/?page_id=7"},"modified":"2018-12-05T16:16:16","modified_gmt":"2018-12-05T15:16:16","slug":"hudba","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.polivka.biz\/en\/hudba\/","title":{"rendered":"About me"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>V\u00e1clav Pol\u00edvka (*September 24, 1974) began his musical career at the age of ten as a member of the Czechoslovak Radio Children's Choir under the direction of choirmaster \u010cestm\u00edr Sta\u0161ek, where he also played the violin and percussion instruments. Here he gained his first experience of public performance and recording for radio, television, and film. During his studies at the Prague Conservatory, he devoted himself to Slovak folk music in the Limbora ensemble as the leader of his own cimbalom band. He also collaborated with Laurych's improvisational theater.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-26 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.polivka.webisti.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/cernobila-1024x374.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"374\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.polivka.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/cernobila-1024x374.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.polivka.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/cernobila-300x110.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.polivka.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/cernobila-768x281.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.polivka.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/cernobila-500x183.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.polivka.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/cernobila.jpg 1504w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From 1995 to 2000, he was a member of the Karm\u00edna ensemble. He gained experience with Celtic music during his six-month stint with the Irish Dew band. After conservatory, he studied violin privately with Prof. Bohumil Kotmel Sr. in Brno and singing (countertenor) with Prof. Terezie Blumov\u00e1 and Pavla Zumrov\u00e1. In addition to numerous stages in most European countries, he has performed in the USA (California, Nevada, Utah), Africa (Namibia, South Africa), and Asia (China, Japan). He also plays the viola, viola d'amore, fiddle, baroque violin, erhu, cink, trumpet, recorder, small harp, piano, harpsichord, and organ. He is a member of the Thuri ensemble, the bands Jagabab and Bakchus, which focus on Gothic and Renaissance music, Cain Da Breth \u2013 acoustic doom metal, and Dua Free together with Luk\u00e1\u0161 Kuta. He sings in the Pra\u017e\u0161t\u00ed P\u011bvci and Polyfonion choirs, and occasionally collaborates with Baroque ensembles (Florea, Messa di Voce) and symphony orchestras (Pilsen, Karlovy Vary, South Bohemian, Hradec Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9, Pardubice, and West Bohemian Philharmonic Orchestras), rock bands (Vep\u0159ov\u00e9 komety, Skryt\u00fd p\u016fvab byrokracie), and DJs (FaTech, MindGroove).<\/p>\n<p>He taught violin at the Elementary Art School in \u010cerno\u0161ice, where he also served as artistic director of the Pram\u00ednek ensemble and founder and director of the \u010cerno\u0161ice Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra.
